Between 2014 and 2020, the European Union will support domestic businesses with around HUF 12,000 billion. One good example of the use of these subsidies is the Faktum Furniture Factory in Újszentiván, whose manager, Árpád Vas, took us on a tour of the factory after a press conference organized by the Hungarian Representation of the European Commission.

Support for the market appearance of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises
Our company, Faktum Bútor Kft., won a grant of HUF 19.4 million based on the tender number GINOP -1.3.1-15-2015-00081 within the framework of the call entitled "Supporting the market appearance of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises". The amount of support is 50%.
During the implementation of the project, we have the opportunity to conduct market research in several European countries; to appear at their exhibitions and product presentations. (Relevant countries: Austria, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Germany, Russia, Romania, Slovenia.) In addition, the amount won enables the testing of our products and the development of our website.
Project completion date: 31.10.2017.

During the implementation of the project, we have the opportunity to conduct market research in several European countries; to appear at their exhibitions and product presentations. (Relevant countries: Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia.) In addition, the amount won also enables the inspection of our products.

Our successful operation so far suggests that we also look to the future with increased ambition. (This sounds a bit cliché when described, but as a family-friendly company, we feel it is completely appropriate.)
This ambition encouraged us to embark on the largest investment in our history and to modernize our company from top to bottom. More modern design, wild new machines, renewable energy sources. Let's face it, buyers won't see much of this. All that is happening is that our employees are making our high-quality furniture under significantly better conditions, thus with greater enthusiasm and dedication.
Faktum Bútor Kft.'s "Faktum 2013" project won HUF 40.301 million in EU funding in the Tender for Site Development within the framework of the Southern Great Plain Operative Program. From the total budget investment of HUF 67.169 million, Faktum Bútor Kft. transformed the existing building, modernized it, and bought equipment.
The investment enabled the creation of 5 new jobs.

It is not easy to sit down at the same table with businesses and traders who are also competitors of each other on weekdays. However, we have always succeeded so far. The fact that we all offer our products to babies and children also plays a role in this, so the empathy, interest and feeling of belonging to the community is much stronger in managers and employees. At the partner meeting in 2014 - considering the anniversary of Faktum - we expressed our gratitude to the partners who have been contributing to the sale of Faktum furniture for the longest time. We thank them and wish them and ourselves many successful years together!
Two decades
The former users of our first furniture are now wearing university benches, perhaps thinking about family planning, or even cherishing their babies - Faktum entered its twentieth year in 2014. We believe that in today's turbulent world, it is no small achievement from a company that it not only survives for so many years, but also achieves better performance every year. We celebrated the anniversary, as well as the employees who have been strengthening the Faktum team for the longest time, to whom we can thank for the completion of our most successful furniture. We could not invite the most important players in our operation, as there are many tens of thousands of them, but we would like to thank them as well: Dear customers, thank you!
We flew through Europe!
Well, only in the places that are important to us. At Faktum, we strongly believe that what we think is good, beautiful, and practical, our customers also have the same opinion. By definition, we are thinking of our own furniture. Year after year, we take them to show the world. In 2014, we were at extremely successful and entertaining exhibitions in Prague, Brno, Bucharest - and Budapest - at the Baba-Mama Expo.

The story of ANIMUS turned out almost as we imagined
Apart from the "small" twist, it achieved real popularity mainly among social users. That's why it was so gratifying that in 2014 the Kozmutza Flóra Kindergarten in Csongrád és Alt. Isk. we were able to hand over a nice little collection to our little friends. We hope you find it useful as much as we love this model family. (The Animus is not currently available at retail.)

We believe that a home furnishing product should be seen in person before making a purchase decision. You have to pull it a little to see if it squeaks, you have to open the doors a couple of times, you have to pull out the drawers, do they open and close as we imagined. We have a customer who bought Faktum products for all his children - of course, they match perfectly - and before every purchase he knocks on every piece of furniture, because it doesn't matter what the room's acoustics will be like... However, there is a much faster part of the world that neither we nor our customers don't want to be left out: the Internet. We launched our webshop in 2013, with a narrower but faster range of products. Popular, loved. Its turnover is now approaching one hundred million.
Village idyll and serial production
In 2003, we came across a factory building and the associated site for sale. In the beginning, we hesitated a bit, it didn't seem like a good idea to move from a big city in Hungary to a small village in the countryside. However, time swept away all our concerns. We found a real home in this friendly settlement. Many local craftsmen became our colleagues, and Faktum became part of many families. With our own means, we try to be reliable and responsible members of this community.
Since 2000, we have been summarizing our offer from time to time.
We have completed the photography of this year's catalog, the material will soon go to the press - and from there to the customers. There are many new items among the furniture, but the core of the construction team has been constant for 15 years now. Looking at the pictures, it is obvious that our furniture has not aged at all...:)
