We are honored that Faktum got included into the "Superbrands" category in 2019. Why is it important and great for all of us? Because it wasn't up to experts in the "baby business", but the minds behind the international requirements and compliance.
In other words, Faktum is recognized with the distinguishing mark of the "Superbrands" award as a brand name with an adequate reputation, goodwill, moral judgement, winning history, fame, conscious innovation and consistent strategy. This couldn't have been possible without the loyalty of our partners and their commitment to customers!
In 2022, we had a fantastic experience when we were able to present at the OTTHONDesign 10th home design trade show our newest furniture collection with the fantasy name Lukka, which we dreamed up together with product designer Máté Horváth. We've been incredibly proud ever since that the furniture collection was included in the Top 10 Hungarian Design products, standalone in the nursery furniture market.
The Lukka furniture collection consists of three main elements: a baby cot, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The uniqueness of the furniture lies in unique design solutions, such as tilted legs and drawer fronts, which bring a never-before-seen color to the world of nursery furniture. As with our previous furniture collections, in this case we tried to achieve harmony, so the decided details also appear in the milling of the edges. All of this is complemented by drawer hardware that can be installed from below, which represents a significantly high quality.
Within the framework of the Modern Mintaüzem Program (Modern Sample Plant Program), micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the convergence regions of Hungary can present themselves. The program supports the innovation and technological change of organizations, improving their competitiveness.
The program creates an opportunity to visit model factories and workshops at various companies in all parts of the country. During the visit, interested parties can not only see the plant, but also get answers to their questions from experts.
Faktum Bútor Kft. was selected for this program in 2022. Thanks to this, after a preliminary registration, we warmly welcome interested entrepreneurs and company representatives to our factory visit program, where we guide those interested along the four main production technologies - furniture sheet processing, solid wood processing, surface treatment and packaging.
We parameterized the children!
100% charm, 100% kindness, 100% fun, 100% curiosity, 100% love and 0.00001% forgettable annoyance. When we design and manufacture our children's furniture, we try to make the most of the former, and try to minimize the latter. The TÜV SÜD quality assurance system is here to help us. Their experts classify our furniture according to strict criteria and award them with recognition if they meet said criteria. We know that children put everything in their mouths, chew everything, peek everywhere, stick their fingers and noses in every hole - and a thousand other things that an adult wouldn't even think of. Not so for TÜV SÜD specialists! If we meet their conditions, children can use our products safely and truly enjoy themselves. Their little fingers don't get stuck in the free holes, their heads don't get stuck between the bed rails, they don't get stuck on the end of the bed with the pacifier cord tied around their neck. They can chew and lick the furniture to their heart's content, and shove the remaining baby biscuits under the mattress. As an adult, doesn't it seem like impossible? Although we have always made our furniture to the best of our abilities, since 2013 we have tested a lot of our products. Since then, we have been one of the few manufacturers of children's furniture who have "documents" that their products are safe. To put it more precisely, "they meet TÜV SÜD's quality assurance requirements", we have obtained their certificate and recognition. Pride in fact - satisfaction in customers! Yup!
For us, the safety of children comes first, and this cannot be any different with regard to the safety of children's furniture, as babies are capable of unbelievable things with their tiny little fingers and growing teeth. That is why we pay great attention to ensuring that the production and distribution of our furniture and its accessories is as safe as possible and complies with Hungarian standards.
This is not only a relief for us, but also for the mothers and fathers who raise their children among these pieces of furniture, take care of them and try to give them everything they need, starting with basic safety. We believe that safe furniture not only makes the baby's sleep more peaceful, but also the parents' sleep.
We are committed to implementing responsible forest management and ensuring the sustainability of forests. We are proud that Faktum Bútor Kft. also has an FSC certificate, which we obtained through certification by a serious international organization, the Forest Stewardship Council. Families choosing Faktum furniture also endorse responsible, conscious forest management.
Our FSC certificate ensures that we meet the organization's high standards and regulations, providing that our products comply with the standards of environment-friendly production and manufacturing. During the FSC certification process, sustaining biodiversity and the ecological balance during timber harvesting is considered, safeguarding the forestry for future generations.
Pretty name, pretty furniture - Kamilla
The fact that we ourselves love and are proud of our nursery furniture, the fact that customers love our nursery furniture, and they even adore some of it, is the result of our two decades of continuous, committed development. However, the fact that we have a product that, according to the jury made up of the experts of the profession, confidently beats the standard, is particularly festive for us. We don't say it out of pretentiousness, but Kamilla is such a piece of furniture. Already in 2007, the Kamilla furniture collection set received the Hungarian Product Grand Prix Award for Recognized Product qualification title. The customers have already voted for it, regardless of the certificate they proudly display, this furniture family has graced many baby rooms since it was launched on the market. Thank You!
